Pricing depends on the tree's size, species, proximity to structures, and how accessible the site is for our equipment. A small ornamental tree is a completely different job than a 60-foot oak over a roofline. We don't publish flat rates because they'd either overcharge simple jobs or shortchange complex ones. It depends on the cause. If a tree fell during a storm and caused damage to a structure — your roof, fence, or siding — most homeowners policies cover at least part of the removal cost. Proactive removal of a dead or hazardous tree that hasn't damaged anything is generally not covered. We can document the work for your insurance claim if needed. Check your specific policy terms with your insurer.
Generally, whoever owns the property where the tree landed is responsible for cleanup — even if the tree came from next door. If the neighbor's tree was visibly dead or diseased and they were warned, there may be liability grounds, but that's a conversation for your insurer and possibly an attorney.
